You know my biggest take away is that there are a lot of kind of ugly people in England actually most of the UK. Americans might be fat but at least we can diet.
A friend that just returned from a 3 week work trip to the UK
I hail from parts all over and known for the most part. After growing up an Army brat I have developed a habit as an adult to move every 3 years or so. After Lubbock, San Antonio, Los Angeles and Jacksonville FLA I now find myself in Austin.
I like to break a sweat every day, good bourbon and tasty micheladas, monetary and political theory, dancing till I almost break something on myself, watching good movies and reading great books, cats, bike riding and any fun in general.
I think I am going to stay here if the city sticks and I think it will. Here you will find whatever pops up in my noggin and my life.
